Our Georgian bracelet features paste glass stones set in cut down pie crust setting, set in silver and gold. This piece is heavy in weight and excellent quality. This unique and rare bracelet is incredibly sought after and would make a stunning addition to ones jewellery collection.
The glass stones were manufactured with lead oxide and referred to as 'Flint Glass'. The glass is cut and faceted to increase the reflections and fire. Paste was considered a popular material in costume and fine jewellery from the 1750s-1930s.
